Ich arbeite als freier Journalist und Reporter im Zukunftsteil der wochentaz.Ich benenne Missstände klar und stelle gleichzeitig jene Menschen ins Zentrum, die für Lösungen kämpfen. I am a freelance journalist based in Berlin and a reporter for the future section of taz, Germany's biggest left-wing newspaper.In 2015, I spent a year working in a youth centre in El Viejo Nicaragua. This experience shaped my work today where I clearly name forces of oppression while putting the people fighting for solutions at the centre.I then studied politics and philosophy at Oxford and completed my training at the German School of Journalism in Munich. I firmly believe that problems are only half of the story. Journalism is needed to highlight the solutions that are being put forth to counter the shift to the right and the climate crisis with courage.ProjectsI am currently working on a utopia generator at MIZ-Babelsberg.On the board of The Ecco, I support creative spaces for the audio community.Awards2024 Ernst Schneider Prize
